Have you ever hunted for deer on a military base? I have the draw for such a hunt here in Alberta in December and just want to know if anyone has a similar experience.
As a "newbie", I'm overwhelmed by the caliber & camaraderie of all the members I've had a chance to check out! Thanks for the welcome! I see I will enjoy & learn a lot from PHJ. With 36yrs+ hunting under my belt, I hope I can contribute as much as I get!

Hello Swift2Hunt. Welcome to PHJ. We're glad you are here! When you get a minute, create a new journal entry and add some pics to your trophy room. Or set up and save a hunting map or two (which are visible only to you). Once you use those tools a time or two I think you'll start to discover the real value of this site as your personal online hunting journal.
Also, please let us know if you have any feedback or ideas for how to improve the site. This is only our "alpha" launch of the site so we are working through a couple final tweaks and adding some more features before marketing it more broadly.
