I am trying to get as much bird training in before it gets to hot! Belle has graduated to pheasant hens and went 5 for 5 today. She is really learning to use the wind to locate birds, she runs 50 yards out and works her way back into the wind. She has also learned to head uphill to scent check an area as well if there is low lying ground.
Up next for Belle will be continued Whoa training in the back yard as well as retrieving work. Other Field Journals:
