It's a boy!
Christopher Rocco Stormann was born 10:24 Sept 22nd at 7.2 lbs and 19.25 inches! I heard it was a full moon, maybe a good sign for celebrating his birthday in the future. We had a bit of a bumpy start and a few extra days because he inhaled some meconium, but all checked out and he made a full recovery. Mom is doing great too and during the 23 hrs a day we are not sleeping we sit there in amazement looking at him. While not on diaper duty I was keeping up my buddies in the stand and it was great to hear about the bucks, the misses and the deer being taken (nice job on the double down duckbuckgoose!). My taxidermist also called just after the baby was born to say that my wood duck I shot almost a year ago is finally ready too! All kinds of things to bring home. Below is a picture of Rocco! Notice the hat proud papa is wearing ;) I'm not sure when the next time is I'll be getting into the field but will be following the exitement here so keep the stories coming.

the benefits of university position are awesome for sure but you get paid 30% less for the same work in the private sector. I'm not complaining, time/freedom is worth more than the money to me right now but that might change before too long!
I only get 3 weeks...for the past 8 years. I had more my first year out of college at the ranch. Time to renegotiate! Plus, you were just telling me you had 3 months some sort of vacation type time to burn.
Hey now...that is University Hospital Neonatal ICU..voted number one NICU Pulminary center in the country two years running by US News and World Report. The front of the room was like a NASA control center and the back of the room had a TV, pullout bed and fridge, it was pretty awesome and nice feature for parents to stay with baby. They had nice everything, i think they have some pretty good supporters in the community with donations too. MC you and I both got 4 weeks of vacay since the Ranch days don't act like that is all crazy talk!.
You think that chair is big R, ask him how much vacation time he gets :-)...
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice job Stormie!! And looking at the size of that hospital leather chair, Akron University healthcare must be pretty good! Fleecing of America!!!
