Oct 29 th a.m. hunt
Another beautiful morning. It was a bit warmer today and there was a light fog in the air. Not much movement again. I had a lone fawn walk past just after daylight, and around 9:00 I had a doe and fawn move out of the corn and head down towards the lake and past my stand.
I decided to call it quits early today, I was very antzy and anxious to get home to finish my packing. First thing tomorrow morning I am off to Kansas with 2 good friends for 14 days of bowhunting. This will be my first time to that state and I am really looking forward to it. We spent 3 days back in early March scouting properties and getting things set up. Can't wait to see what the next two weeks have in store for us! :o)
